mini banger racing
urgent help mini problem?
my car is a autograss car (bit like rally and banger racing) so to start it up it has a cut off switch and a flick switch and push button. it starts fine but shortly after it started to run it makes the noise like its still turning trying to turn over all by its self. when you hit the flick switch to turn it off it stays running. but when you tuen the cut off switch off it stops running like it should
i have very little time till its next racing so this is very urgent

It sounds like your starter solenoid has stuck, if it is the older Mini car the solenoid was separate and easy to change. If it is the later type and part of the starter motor then it could mean complete replacement motor. Both can be found reasonably cheap at scap yards
