What car should i buy to out race my friend?
my guy has a 2000, 3.0 liter base model nissan maxima, w/an automatic trans. and a catback exhaust only.
i dont wanna spend more than 9k on a car. i know of course i can stomp him out with a bigger engine, but if i can help it, id rather buy a 4 cylinder manny trans. ill buy a 6 banger if i have 2. i also would rather not buy a turbo or supercharged engine (primium isnt cheap), but i will if it comes to it. id do it. im deff gonna get a few mods on it asap, b4 he even knows i have a car. (cold air/short ram, headers, catback). gimmie an idea of what i should get.
Premium isn’t cheap? Then where the hell do you get the money for headers? Not to mention bigger engines get worse gas mileage in the city, so there goes your “cheap gas”.
That being said a Sentra SE-R, Integra GS-R, Maxima SE, Pontiac Firebird Trans Am, Nissan 300ZX (NA or turbo), Toyota MR2 (turbo), Eclipse GST (turbo), etc. will do the job.
